Religious liberty is a God-given right and the first freedom recognized in our constitution. It is foundational to all other freedoms – speech, press, etc. – because it is presupposed in all other freedoms. This First Freedom is not meant to be confined within the walls of a church. Rather, religious liberty means the freedom to worship and live according to one's beliefs in every aspect of life.

Because we are made in the image and likeness of God, human life is sacred and must be protected, at all stages. We are particularly responsible to protect the life and dignity of the most vulnerable in our society – the unborn, disabled.

Marriage is the God-ordained lifelong union of one man and one woman. It is the best environment for the raising of children and inculcation of virtues. When marriage breaks down or is diminished, the members of that family suffer, but society as a whole also pays a price.
